F A Q' S

How long does the battery last?

Battery life typically lasts 25-30 minutes per battery set. If there are high winds, then the battery life can be reduced to 15-20 minutes per set. Typically, I carry 4 sets of batteries, and I will recharge them using an inverter. This however does not mean multiple sets will be used for recovery. This is at the discretion of myself based on the information I gather about location, shot placement, and other factors.

How long does it take to locate a deer?

I have located deer within seconds of being in the air and as long as two hours. There are many factors that play a role in how quick a recovery can be made. Like shot placement, terrain, and track preservation.

How long does a heat signature show after a deer dies?
